On our Wednesday morning, Oct 21, this is Lynette's latest post.

"This morning we met with our neonatologist to discuss what the next step will be for dealing with Olive's growing head. The neurosurgeons here in Chiang Rai don't have experience doing this surgery on such a little baby, and it looks like the best option will be to move her to a hospital in Chiang Mai (three hours away). We are waiting to hear back from the government hospital there as to when a bed will open up for her in the NICU and then we will most likely be packing up and moving our headquarters. This could be in a day, or a week. We will be very sad to leave our nurses and doctor here, but it looks like this is the best option for Olive."

It will be hard for me (Lynette's Mama) to see R& L leave the support system in Chiang Rai. However, R&L have friends in Chiang Mai as well. So, as they prepare to move, we will be praying that God continue to give R&L strength and wisdom and peace.

As Angie read Lynette's blog concerning Olive's state of health on the day we thought she was passing into a new life, Darrell and Angie's son Bryce commented, "That is our miracle we have been praying for." They were on their way to Darrell's Grandma's funeral. Grandma Amanda Yoder 92 yr old. (Darrell is assisting Stacia with the OLIVE HOPE FUND). And for Lynette and Rusty's sake, I put my arms around them yesterday and thanked the family for the blessing they have been to R&L with their prayers and support.

To all of you reading my blog. I want you to know that your prayers and love are felt every day. And add our daughter Melody who is "great with child" to your list of prayers. She is only several weeks behind her sister, Lynette's due date. Melody has her Master's degree in Social work and works in a school setting. The swine flu had surfaced close to her house, so pray that Melody will stay healthy throughout her pregnancy. This connection with her younger sister so far away in Thailand has been very hard on her. (I am sure Shawna (Rusty's sis) and Melody have those feelings in common as they deal with all this news many miles away).
