The past several years Norm and I have made a habit of "traveling light" and not checking in our baggage when we fly. There is very little airport security for "checked in baggage" and no one checks to see if you picked up the right luggage.
Today's news affirms our decision to travel with a "carry on," or never put anything valuable in your "check in baggage." So on your next trip, consider only taking those things you won't be able to live without.
An Arizona couple are accused of stealing at least 1,000 pieces of luggage from the Phoenix airport and stashing — or at times, selling — the suitcases.
