Jesus, please take good care of Olive

Olive suffered from severe meningitis on her last day on earth. She died peacefully this evening around 6:30 pm. She was snuggled close to her earthly daddy as she took her last breath. She was so beautiful without her tubes.

We have come home to a house prepared for Olive, complete with a pack and play, car seat, and stroller.

As we released her, Rusty led us in a prayer to Jesus asking him to take good care of her. We know he will. No more suffering from a broken shunt, and hydrocephalus. But now we carry the pain of bonding and letting go.

OH Carol, I thought of that basement that you were preparing for your kids and granddaughter. So very sorry you have that to come home to. I'm sure it just added to the pain of not being able to use the things you got ready for Olive. My heart is braking for your family. We love you guys!!
