A Fall Recipe


Here is a recipe introduced to me by my sister Anna. Lovely for the holidays

Pumpkin Dessert

Beat the following ingredients together and Pour into a 9 x 13 pan. Line the pan with wax paper at the bottom:

2 cans 15 oz pumpkin
1 (12 oz0 can evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Sprinkle the following on top of the pumpkin batter:
1 package yellow cake mix
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup chopped pecans

Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees

Cool the pudding in the refrigerator.

When ready to serve, drop the baked pumpkin upside down on a flat serving sheet.

Top with the following ingredients:
1 8 oz package of cream cheese beaten with 1 cup powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. Fold into 1 (12 oz) Cool Whip.
