I loved this facebook post from my daughter in law, Carrie.
Israel and Layla are home from school today. They were both being quiet and I went to go see what they were doing, and found them busy in the bay window, where Israel was giving Layla a lengthy "test", because that is logically what you do for fun when you are staying home from school. :P He announced with a significant amount of relish that she had gotten an "F+" because she didn't know hardly any of the words. I told him that is why you need to test people where they are at, and that she had actually done a good job of writing the words like they sounded. He agreed and said that was why she earned the F+ instead of just an F.
